Adult Open Hockey & Sticktime

  • NEW for goalies only – RESERVE your spot by emailing Adam Mims or post to the FB group
  • Only goalies can reserve their spot – players are first come, first play
  • Reserved goalies are subject to losing their spot if they arrive after 12:20 pm
  • $12 per player or pre-pay for 10 sessions for $100
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to participate
  • Full equipment required, including HECC-approved helmet (facemasks/ visors optional but highly recommended)
  • NO Gretzky Jofa helmets allowed
  • 26 skaters and 3 goalies MAX
  • Goalies earn $10 (must stay until end of skate)
  • Be considerate of others- share the ice and take short shifts
  • Skate hard. Pass the puck. Have fun. Get a great workout.

  • Bring a black and white jersey! Don’t be that guy rockin’ the gray or yellow jersey.

  • No reservations necessary – no cap to number of players and goalies
  • Goalies do not get paid but they are free.

  • Cost is $12 per person per session regardless of length of session
  • All players/ coaches are required to sign in and pay prior to entering the ice
  • Goalies are free if they are targets for the paying players
  • Goalies pay if they are on a lesson with a goalie coach
  • Sessions range from 1 -2 hours
  • 18 and over must wear at a minimum a HECC-approved helmet, hockey skates, and hockey gloves
  • Youth 17 and under must wear full equipment
  • Scrimmaging of any kind is prohibited
  • Sticktime is strictly for practicing individual skills
  • Private/ semi-private lessons are allowed if you are an Oceanside-approved coach. Contact Adam Mims for pre-approval.
  • Coaches pay for sticktime just like everybody else
  • Any players and/or coaches who are unable to respectfully share the ice with others will be asked to leave and not return.
